Madison Morris, MS, RDN
Between her professional backgrounds in both the arts and sciences and her own health journey as a thyroid cancer survivor, Madison brings a unique blend of skills and experiences to the proverbial table. She draws from this extensive knowledge base to offer practical services and sound support to clients and communities.

DANCE:
Madison has performed on a variety of stages dancing with the Inland Pacific Ballet (Principal), Houston Ballet (Corps de Ballet), and Anaheim Ballet and performing at galas and festivals across the country. She has danced styles ranging from classical and character to modern and contemporary and has performed notable roles including protagonists (Cinderella in “Cinderella”), antagonists (Seawitch in "The Little Mermaid"), and everything in between (Snow Queen, Dew Drop, acting/character roles, etc). She has performed in works by several acclaimed choreographers such as Sir Frederick Ashton, Sir Kenneth MacMillan, John Cranko, George Balanchine, Sir Ben Stevenson, Mark Morris, Christopher Wheeldon, Garrett Smith, and in world premiers such as Stanton Welch's "Marie" and "La Bayadere” and Emma Andres' "Little Women Ballet." Madison has been a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) since 2010, and while her primary home is the stage, Madison is also a SAG-eligible performing artist with experience in commercial dance and modeling. She has appeared in a number of publications including a book (i.e. "The Telling Image") and magazines ranging from local to national (i.e. Dance Magazine, Pointe, Dance Advantage, Arts & Culture Texas, etc).
Madison's pre-professional experience and training included Houston Ballet II, Houston Ballet Academy, School of American Ballet, and Ad Deum Dance. During her time performing and touring with Houston Ballet II, she was honored with two awards from Houston Ballet and was recognized nationally as YoungArts Finalist and Winner (2010) by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (NFAA).
TEACHING AND COACHING:
Madison was first introduced to teaching as a Teacher's Assistant at Houston Ballet Academy. Since then, she has gained extensive experience and acclaim as an instructor and coach teaching at a number of dance schools domestic and abroad. She is currently ranked the #1 Dance Coach on CoachUp and has also served as a movement specialist and coach for a wide array of athletes including gymnasts, basketball players, and figure skaters.

Madison is passionate about furthering dance, nutrition, and cancer related research and has participated in numerous studies including:

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2023): Study participant for "Female Athlete and Dancer Experiences Study (FANS Study)."

Azusa Pacific University (2019): Physical therapy department study participant for "Comparisons between smartphone video and 3-D motion capture for movement analysis of pointe-readiness tests (slo-mo and 3D motion capture analysis of dance movements).

California State University, Fullerton (2015): Kinesiology department study participant for "Acute Effects of Stretching on Strength of Dancers and Resistance Training Women."
MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT INTERNSHIP:
In 2017, Madison founded a "Musical Accompanist Internship" to train talented musicians to accompany ballet classes.
